Scholarships and Grants Currently Available

Scholarships Applications for 2012 have closed.

The Neurosurgical Society of Australasia and its sponsoring organisations collectively offered $205,000 in Scholarships for the 2012 calendar year. Applications have closed and successful recipients will be announced here during September. The next round of Scholarships and Grants will be advertised during March 2012.

We gratefully acknowledge the support for our research sponsorship and partner organisations for 2012 research projects.

Our Scholarship and Grant Conditions

The neurosurgical research must be undertaken in a full time capacity as part of a higher degree to be eligible for consideration. In addition some Scholarships and Grants will have specific conditions attached which will be advertised. For further details on our generic procedures and eligibility please see our research policy below. More specific details will be advertised when the next round of Scholarship and Grant applications open.

From time to time, the Society is made aware of external funding available to support research. Interested doctors should contact the organisations advertising the funding directly for further information.
