Selection Timetable

The timelines for the Surgical Education and Training Program in Neurosurgery selection process for the 2013 intake, conducted during 2012 are provided for the information of potential applicants.

Eligibility

The eligibility criteria are subject to change on an annual basis. The College has generic eligibility criteria which all applicants to any SET Program must satisfy. In addition to the generic eligibility criteria applicants to the Surgical Education and Training Program in Neurosurgery must also satisfy the specialty specific eligbility criteria.

Registration

Doctors intending to apply for selection into the Surgical Education and Training Program must register via the College website. Doctors not registered cannot lodge an application. Refer to the College Registration for Selection into Surgical Education and Training Policy for further details. 

Application

The application process for those registered opens in approximately April each year, usually for a one month period. During this time registered applicants who are eligible will have access to the online application form. Late applications are not considered.  

Selection Process
