Registration Overview
Doctors intending to apply for selection into the Surgical Education and Training Program must register via the College website www.surgeons.org. Doctors not registered cannot lodge an application. Refer to the College Registration for Selection into Surgical Education and Training Policy for further details available on their website.
Registrations usually open in January and closes in February. It is important to watch the College website carefully to ensure you do not miss the closing date. Once registered the College conducts an eligibility check against the generic eligibility criteria to ensure you meet the minimum requirements. The College charges a fee for registration for selection.
For the 2013 intake, with the selection process conducted during 2012 the opening date for registrations is11 January 2012 and the closing date is 17 February 2012. The fee for registration is to be determined.
