EMST Course

What is the EMST Course?


The EMST Course is a two and half day intensive course in the management of injury victims in the first 1-2 hours following injury. Trauma is a major killer of young people in Australia and New Zealand.

When must the EMST Course be completed?


Trainees must complete the EMST Course prior to the end of their SET3 training year. Recognition of Prior Learning for the EMST Course may be considered in accordance with the Board Recognition of Prior Learning Regulations.

Registration, Fees and Timing


Trainees are advised to register as soon as is practical after appointment. Registration and delivery of the EMST Course is managed by the College with a fee charged. For further information on the courses please visit the College website.
