Clinical Examination

Overview


The emphasis of the Clinical Examination is on the application of basic science knowledge and understanding and clinical practice relevant to all forms of surgery. Trainees spend 5 minutes at each of 16 assessed stations. The Clinical Examination must be satisfactorily completed during SET1 of the SET Program in Neurosurgery.

Examination Dates, Fees and Additional Information


Trainees must register and pay the applicable fee for the examinations. There are strict closing dates applied by the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons (RACS). The examinations are managed by the RACS and the information relating to dates, fees and registration can be obtained using the link below.
