Our Research Program

With the support of our sponsors and partner organisations, the Neurosurgical Society of Australasia Research Fund has awarded $1,614,183 in scholarships and grants to support neurosurgical research in Australia and New Zealand since 2007. Some of these funds are paid directly by our sponsor and partner organisations.

The Neurosurgical Society of Australasia Research Committee is responsible for setting a research agenda for the Neurosurgical Society of Australasia and ensuring the transparent allocation of research funds consistent with the research agenda with a focus on both basic science and clinical research. The Committee is also responsible for identifying potential funding sources to support neurosurgical research and dissemination of research information to members.
